Syndicate is also the only race that can generate influence. Amazon t1s lack range and their stagger isn't very useful on hardcore intensity since most enemies have stagger resist mods Indentured with exploiter and static mods are cheap and probably the most powerful early game units that are especially good vs high tier mechanical enemies. With so many secret tech units using either Arc or Psi channels, they have unit synergy with everything. In any case, my favorite race is the Syndicate. It's a cool race though but one I'd rather play against. They're also too alien to identify with properly. ![]() Weak? units but cheaper and you can make more of them. ![]() Kir'ko are pretty much the goblins of Planetfall. ![]() I have nothing against Vanguard but they seem a little boring and generic as they're supposed to be and Dvar bulwarks are just better troopers that can use trenchers and stun enemies so I prefer playing as Dvar. I was reading the official forums and saw a post by the devs that most played races are Vanguard and Kir'ko which came as a total surprise since they are my least played races along with Shakarn (not that I don't like Shakarn but I haven't got to them yet).

In many countries, meat, eggs and milk offer a vital source of nutrition when there aren’t good alternatives available. And animal agriculture provides livelihoods for some 1.3 billion people worldwide. They also produce manure that we can use as fertilizer. Cows and other livestock, after all, can often be raised on pasture that would otherwise be unsuitable for growing crops, and they eat crop residues that would otherwise go to waste. A number of experts have argued that a sustainable food system can and should still include plenty of animals. We’ve highlighted places that aren’t boring or overly expensive or overrated, and we’ve ensured that our top picks also score well for practical stuff like walkability, good public transport and safety, as well as sustainability. Our top cities this year are the ones with thriving nightlife, amazing food and drink, and art, culture and museums galore. So while things like community spirit and resilience were two of the most important factors last year, in 2022 we’ve added extra weight to the things that make cities great places to visit as well as to live. Unfortunately, the risk that this changes is considerably growing, and it can no longer be excluded that (armed) force will become used in outer space, either directed towards Earth or within outer space itself. So far, outer space has merely become involved in terrestrial armed conflicts as part of the supportive infrastructure for military activities. ![]() Translated into the 21st century, then, ‘the ends of the earth’ refers to the world’s least reached people groups, particularly those language communities and populations who have yet to receive the good news of Christ’s salvation. In both instances, ‘the ends of the earth’ refers, not so much to geographical designation, as to those peoples that had not yet received the gospel, and to whom Christ was sending his disciples with the gospel. Let’s begin.įirst, let’s examine ‘the ends of the earth.’ This is a theological term that derives from Christ’s Great Commission words in Matthew 28:20 (“…and lo I will be with you always, even to the ends of the earth.”) and more particularly in Acts 1:8 (“…you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”). This means we must add ‘the ends of the earth’ as a fourth component to unpack and clarify our definition of ‘global gateway cities’. So ‘global gateway cities’ are a means to reaching the ends of the earth, and not an end in themselves. ‘Global gateway cities’ derive their definition and value from their relationship to ‘reaching the ends of the earth’. Global Gates’ vision is: reaching the ends of the earth, through global gateway cities. What are the key elements that constitute a “global gateway city”?ĭespite the temptation to begin with the three constituent words: 1) global, 2) gateway, and 3) city – it’s better that we take one step further back, to put this three-word term into its broader context, a context we can obtain by looking at Global Gates’ vision statement. But that can also be a problem, since few cities have all the bells and whistles of a New York City. Global Gates began using the designation with New York City, and few could argue that – however we define it – New York City fits the bill. ![]() As we move forward, let me assure you that the development and improvement of our beloved modpack will persist.
